For Parents, babies and toddlers

The group enables children to learn Spanish through playing. For those with a Spanish or Latin American background it’s a great opportunity to maintain their cultural roots and traditions.

The emphasis is on traditional games, songs, rhymes, poems and stories, from all the Spanish speaking countries, that give the little ones a good grounding for future language learning.

We have a combination of activities where children are exposed to Spanish in a natural environment. With music, singing, story-telling and physical activities like yoga for children.

The activities will focus on singing along with mum/carer. Each action will be performed with a variety of sensory stimulating activities, based on baby massage and baby singing techniques among others.

Hi, I would like to bring my little boy Oscar (9 months old) to expose him to Spanish language as soon as possible – I have been to something similar in Brighton with my sisters’ children, but have not found anything in London until now! I speak some Spanish myself, but am a bit rusty. Please let me know – does the course close for the summer or is it on in July and August? Looking forward to coming along soon, Lisa

    Hi Maria Paula,

I’m the proud father of a 3 week old girl. I’m bilingual and am looking for ways to help my girl speak spanish also. At what age do think this learning becomes effective?

    Thanks, Ben

    • January 15, 2013 9:52 pm

      Felicitaciones Ben.

La Pajara Pinta Spanish Sing Along is for babies aged 6 months to 4 years, and we also have more structured lessons for children aged 4 to 11. Learning has been effective since the day she was born. If you really want her to be bilingual talk to her only in spanish and bring her to La Pajara Pinta as soon as she turns 6 months.

We are really looking forward to meeting you soon.
